Account Executive - Trade Show Sales

Are you Motivated by Commission?

We are a leading producer of consumer expositions and trade shows in the local greater Minneapolis-St Paul Twin Cities area producing events in the areas of Home Improvement and Health and Wellness.

We offer you multiple ways to earn money. Exhibit Booth Sales, Add-Ons and Sponsorships Sales.

This position is for people who enjoy talking with people and are motivated by results. It is helpful if you have the ability to think outside the box and be creative. While our expos have specific industries and themes, there is plenty of room for you to express your creativity.

Another huge advantage to this sales job is one customer, often exhibits in multiple expos. so a single call often results in multiple sales, resulting in multiple commissions. Also, once the prospect is a customer, they can be offered additional marketing opportunities and add-ons, resulting in more sales for you and even more commissions.

Some rewards of the job are getting to know a variety of business people and then meeting them in person, on-site at the expos. This is a job where you will see immediate results from your work and the job actually gets easier as time gets closer to the event date.

We want disciplined sales account executives with a hard work ethic and a winning attitude to join us.

RESPONSIBILITY - Exhibit Booth Space Sales:
- Tele-prospecting from current list and for new clients.
- Follow-up on leads, and close the sale. (deposit/payment)
- Stay in communication with the main office.
- Prospect for additional leads and sources.
- Be creative and innovative.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to CLOSE the Sale (Get the money in.)
- Telephone work done during normal business hours.
- Successful telephone sales track record.
- Follow-Up on all prospects.
- Internet and email knowledge and access.
- Ability to prospect for NEW business leads.
- Passion for sales and talking with people.
- Strong networking and business/social skills.
- Expertise in obtaining referrals.
- Energetic and self-motivator.

OPTIONAL JOB DUTIES:
- Attend business and networking events and socials.
- Work on-site at the expos, and other events. (additional pay)
- Sponsorship Package Sales, and Add-Ons (bigger commissions)

COMPENSATION:
10% to 50% commission on sales (negotiated)
